TORINO DESIGN ADVISORY BOARD

In December 2014 the City of Torino has been designated UNESCO Creative City for Design. This designation was obtained through a candidacy based on important and strategic themes for our environment, some of them strictly connected to our histoy and tradition, some other related to new developing paths in different fields as: environment, urban regeneration, economic development of the city.

The candidacy was builded and promoted by a steering committee formed by institutions and active bodies driving to this important outcome. Then Torino has decided to establish a permanent structure representing the local design system and chain, an advisory workgroup about promote and support the design field.

This board is actually composed by public and private institutions, education field, category associations, professionals, production field, research, commerce, heritage development, museums, market fairs.
