“Humanizing Technology Through Design”

Circolo del Design – Turin, with the aim of spreading and promoting the design culture through projects with territorial impact, and cultural and training activities, has launched its new cultural season with a program that will continue until September, under the theme HUMANIZING TECHNOLOGY.

Within this cultural calendar, Circolo del Design – Turin launches the international conference “Humanizing Technology Through Design” (here the updated program), which will take place at OGR Torino from 17 to 19 June 2021.

The conference will be held in person, but it can also be followed for free in live streaming (again at this link), and can also be watched, simultaneously translated, in English.

The conference aims to disseminate the state of the art on the humanization of technology at a national and international level, with a view to providing new innovation tools to companies, institutions, service providers and designers.

The speeches will reflect current challenges and best practices in artificial intelligenceeducationhealthmobility and public services, with an opening session dedicated to the relationship between ethics and technology.

In the six sessions of the conference, national and international companies will participate with their designerstraining institutes with their researchers and design studios with their design leads.

Together with these speakers, in order to simultaneously express the work in this sense and the excellence of the territory, institutional local players will intervene to tell the projects and visions they carry out in their work and their innovative approach with issues related to the humanization of technology.
